By Association. Receivad December 19, 5.5 p.m. ADELAIDE, December 19. New South Wales against South Australia made 184 in their first innings (E. Waddy 118, Gow 11, Minnett 11). South Australia has lost 4 wickets for 184 (Gehrs 72. Clem Hill not out 94.

WAIRARAPA CRICKET ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Wairarapa Cricket Association was held in Mr A. H Rothenberg's rooms on Saturday evening. Mr E. Collinge presiding, and there were also present Messrs Redmond, Esson, Smart, Galwey, Bennett, Rothenberg and S. R. Edwards.

The New Zealand Cricket Council wrote proposing that m the event of a match being arranged between Wairarapa and the Australian team, that the Wairarapa Association pay its guarantee for the match and the expenses of the match, and appropriating to its own use the whole of ths Drofits. This proposition is made subject lo the original pooling scheme suggested by the New Zealand Cricket Council being abandoned. A lengthy debate ensued as to whether it would be a profitable undertaking for the local Association to accept the hew terms. It was finally decided, on the motion of Mr W. H. L. Galwey, that the Wairarapa Association are prepared to stand to their original proposal, or as an altarnative to guarantee £SO towards the expenses of the match with Wairarapa, the whole of the proceeds of the match to be taken by the local Association, and the New Zealand Cricket Council to pay all expenses in connection with the mstch. This was seconded by Mr Smart, and unanimously carried. The secretary was instructed to convey the resolution to the New Zealand Cricket Council. The patronage of the Association, on the application of Mr A, H. Rothenberg, was given t) the concert that it is proposed to hold early in January for the benefit of the funds of the Association, who propose to assist financially the reprasentative j team to Hawke's Bay. The secretary was instructed to communicate with ' he captains of the teams respecting players appearing on the cricket field without the proper uniform, and to notify them that the rule bearing en i this matter is to be enforced.
