The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd.. report on their fortnightly stock sale at the Ekctahuna yards yestsrday as follows:—We offered ewes and lambs and 2 tooth mixed, both lots selling under the hammer. In cattle we submitted all classes and the quality being good we had spirited bidding for every lot, only one pen of heifers failing to reach owners' reserve. Shorn ewes and lambs, medium class, (is, all counted; shorn 2 tooth 10s; 3 and 4 year bullocks, <£4 17s 6d, £5 63 and £5 10s; 2 year steers, 6&s; 18 months, 555; yearlings, 46b; small yearlings 365; cows and calves 67s 6d; forward cows, 60s.
