STATE GUARANTEE ADVANCES.
It wili be remembered that in the State Guarantee Advances Bill an important amended in the House of Representatives on the motion of Mr Sidey. It had reference to the'vesting of unguaranteed local loans in Commissioners instead of in the Public Trustee. The Premier was subsequently defeated on a motion to recommit the Bill. It is now likely that another Bill will be brought down to nullify the effect of Mr Sidey's amendment
