A REMEDY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT. Received December 14, 10 p.m. LONDON, December 14. Mr John Burns, President of the Local Government Board, in a preface to the "Chronicle's" pamphlet on the Housing and Town Planning Bill, declares that the Act is a better remedy for unemployment in the building trades than ?ny restrictive tariffs on timberand other building materials.
