THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The reception accorded to the new programme presented by', Messrs Thompson and Payne at tne Foresters' Hall on Saturday and Monday evenings should be highly gratifying to the management. The programme is fall of cinematographic gems, all of which are well worth seeing: One. ia first shown a fine industrial subject entitled "Pottery Makiiur," whichjis very interesting indeed. The dramatic films are always acceptable and the new lot are well up to the firm's high standard. "The Outcast's Sacrifice" is a truly pathetic picture, and another fine film is "On and Off the Stage." Most people have read Charles Dickens' beautiful story "Oliver Twist." Patrons had this presented to them in a very vivid picture, and the story of Oliver, Nancy, Bill Sykes and Fagio was followed very gkeenly. "The Football Warrior" proved to be a really dramatic drama, and the audience cheered loudly the different scenes where the hero fights against the villain who trya to deceive the girl who has won "The Warrior's" affections. Lauiihter was rampant at the comic subjects produced. "The Watch Dog," "The Wizard's Walking Stick," "The Sleepers,'' and "The Witch's Donkey," kept the audience in a simmer of merriment which burst into yells of laughter at "An Aviator's Expeiience." There is a complete change of programme billed for Wednesday night.
