WHAT BRITAIN REQUIRES.
AIRSHIPS AND AEROPLANES. FEATURES OF THE NEXT WAR. VIEWS OF EARL ROBERTS. Received December 9, 10.35 p.m. LONDON, December 9. Lord Roberts* speaking nt the United Service institution, said that Britain cannot afford to be behind hand in airahips ana aeroplanes. He firmly believes, that these may be great features in the next war. Britain must make her cwn machines and train her own aeronauts. Englishmen were brave and confident became they know nothing of what is going on and are content to remain in apathy because they will not believe auything can happen to them. A wave of ignorance pervades the whole country.
