Messrs Abraham an 1 Williams, Ltd., report o.i their Masterton stock sale, held yesterday, as follows: We yarded 1,400 head of sheep find 150 head of cattle. The demand for s'leep was not keen under the hammer, but we made a good clearance privately. In cattle we made an almost total clearance under the hammer. Quotations:— Sheep: Fat ewes and wethers, shorn, lis; ewes and lambs, shorn. 12s Id to 14s 6d; 2tooth shorn wethers, 10s 9d to lis Id Fat cows £5 3s to £5 4s; fat speyed heifers, £3 9s to £4 9a; forward cows and heifers, £3 2s 6d; empty cows and heifers, £3 6s; 2yr empty heifers £2 6s; 2yr steers, £3; 4yr bullocks, £5 14s. Pigs: Porkers 17s to 22s 6d.
