METEOROLOGICAL.
By Aseociation. WELLINGTON, December 6. The following ia the Rev. D. C. Bates' siinlmary and forecasc— Westerly low With moderate gradients hau passedl over the country and the weather has been sultry. Rain has fallen in southern districts and equally weather was experienced on the East Coast of the South Island at'times. The present indications are, for a further fall in the barometer, with strong northerly and westerly winds. Changeable and showery weather is probable south of New Plymouth and Napier, and warm and humid conditions elsewhere. The winds will probably 1 continue westerly generally for about 36 hours before veering for the southerly.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at the Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. on Sunday was 5 points.
