The steamer 'lhistlemor blew tip and foundered with her ctjw of 30 off Clovelly. Four bodies have been washed ashore. The steamer Elland, hound from Anvoin, Isle of Man, for Liverpool, foundered on the Mersjv bar Twentyon crew and twelve passengers were drowned. Much damage was dons inland.
