From Our Resident Reporter. Saturday. The annual distribution of prizes in connection with the Parkvale Sunday School will take place on Friday ev ning next. From three applications submitted by the Education Board, the local School Committee iast evening appointed Mr H. Millar to the position ot assistant master at the High S hool. Mr Millar was formerly on the teaching staff of the Greytown school, and will enterupori his duties after the summer vacation. A meeting of t':e local United Friendly Societies' Council will be held on Tuesday evening to deal with matters in connection with the Boxing Day picnic at Pigeon Bush. The Belvedere Hehool Committee, last night, decided to recommend Mr Stout for the position of headmaster. Miss BodtM has been appointed as sistant mistress.
