_ 4> By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, December 2. . The following is Rev. D C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The barometer has fallen everywhere slowly in the North, but consideiably in the Southern districts. Northerly gal "is are now reported in Foveaux Strait, and on the East Coast of the South Island. Moderate to strong easterly winds prevail elsewhere. The weather has been warm, humid and cloudy, and showery in parts. The present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere. Unsettled cloudy weather, with rain, is probable everwyhere, and thunderstorms in parts, especially to-morrow evening. Northerly winds strong to gale are probable generally.

Mr H. G. Groves, of Bush Grove, reports as follows:—The rainfall for the month was 2.91 points. The maximum fall was .77 points on the 29th. Kain fell on 11 days. The maximum temperature was 82 on the 17th, and the minimum 36 on the 2nd. The rainfall for November, 1908, was 96 points.
