Mr T. C. Webb, the well-known organist, will leave by this morning's train for Wellington. Mrs H. Roberts, of Maryborough, who recently underwent a seriouu operation, at the Wellington Hospital, is making satisfactory progress towards recovery. The death occurred at Wanganui on Wednesday last of Mrs Bryce, wife of the Hon. John Bryce. The deceased was 74 years of age. Mr Thomas Jamieson, who was well-known in Christchurch from his long connection with the firm of the late Mr G. G Stead, died on Sunday, aged 55 years. At one time he acted as Spanish Consul in Christchurch, prior to the appointment of the late Mr Francis Arenas.
