CONCERT IN AID OF THE SALVATION ARMY.

BY MUNICIPAL BRASS BAND. A concert of an exceptionally at tractive character will be given this evening at the Town Hall, in aid of the funds of the Salvation Army, by the members of the Municipal Brass Band. A most successful rehearsal was held last evening, and those who were privileged to be present considered that it was one of the best of its kind yet seen in Masterton. A feature of the programme which is published iN full elsewhere, will be the Band fantasia "Coon Land," a very unique and pleasing item. There will no doubt be a lage attendance not only on account of the merit of the entertainment, but also in consideration of the worthy object which it is the desire of the promoters to assist, The Mayor (Mr P.
