IMPORTANT AM3NDMENT REJECTED. MEASURE IN PERIL. Received Novem'-.c r 26, .20 a.m. LONDON, November 25. The House of Commons, by 246 votes to 49, rejected the vital amendment made by the Lor.ls in tha Irish Land Bill requiring an appeal to a judicial tribunal instead i f the Land Commission prior to compulsory purchase. T.ie Unionists urged that the rejection of t\ is amendment wculd imperil the Bill.
