NEW LICENSING PROPOSALS.
NO-LICENSE ADVOCATE'S VIEWS. THE BEST PLAN HIT UPON. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, November 22. Mr G. B, Nicholls, organising agent for Otago and Southland for the No-License party, says:--"Per-smally. I think, considering the many difficulties in thtir way, the representatives of the No Liccnsi party have hit on the best plan calculated to finish this liquor trade matter mnst quickly, most fii ally, with the least strife and troubl?, with the least expense to the country, and with a minimum of hardship to tl 03e in the "trade." As regards the "trade," they have secured almost as long a lease of life as the most optimistic of them expected. It is possible now we may carry Domiuion prohibition in 1911. There is a Dominion convention of our party in Wellington on Wednesday, which will finally decide the party attitude towards the Bill.'' AUCKLAND, November 22.
At a private meeting of the NoLicense Party, three hund/ed being preser.t, Mr Wesley Spragg explained the r awn of the com. promise with the Liquor Party. No resolution was passed. The meeting wa3 more satisfied with the proposals.
