Muasrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd/, report as follows on their fortnightly ■sale at Eketahuna yesterday:—Both sheep and cattle c«»me in over advertised numbers. Sheep in most cases did not sell too freely under the hammer, but we disposed of most of our entrien hefore the day closed. Cattle sold w*ll at late rates. e quote:— I Sheer • Fat ewes, 16s 3d; ewes and odsa, lufi t I 18s 3d; empty forward e wee, 12s 7d. Cattle: Threeyear steers, £5; 2J-year steers, £3 ins to £3 17s 6d; forward empty cows, £?. 10s to £3 2s; yearling heifers, 395; dairy cows, £2 to £7 sh; bulls up to £3.
