Kiikcaldie, G. H. Chapman, N ; , |\ Morley, H, tSeaton, L. 3. Humphries?/ It was resolved t» urge on the Gove-r.iment or Commissioner of Taxes that at 1 >ast 5 por cent, on the full value of all machinery be allowed off income tax.
The attention of the Minister ot Labour is to be directed to the point that the forwarding of Conciliation council's recommendations as agreements to be fjrthwith converted into awards is contrary to clause 43 oi tho Arbitration Act. It was decided to recommend that wages named in Arbitration Court awards shall not apply to Government, municipal or public relief works started to relieve distress and unemployment.
