TWO ACCUSED SENT TO GAOL. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 17 At the Supreme C urt to-day Thomas Higgins and John McCarthy, two young men, were convicted of assaulting Charles HerOn, fracturing his jaw an 1 causing other injuries. Higgins was sent to for 18 months, and McCarthy for nine months.
