THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The Forfsiers' Hall was well filled last night to welcome the new programme submitted, and it deserved the patronage extended to it. The programme opened with a fine scenic series "Quebec to Niagara." This picture was taken by special from the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, and it shows the glorious splendour of these celebrated falls and surroundings. This film was followed by a "Trip Up the Nile," and patrons had a fine view of Egyptian scenery. The other scenic subjects produced were "Gota Canal, Sweden," and a magnificent' Belies showing "Versailles" in the time of Louis XIII. This film is beautifully coloured. Lovers of Biblical history are well catered for in "The Life of Samson," this Bupefb picture being one of the fine art coloured series, and shows in full detail every incident of Samson's life from his birth till he meets his death in the ruins of the temple of Daeon. The dramatic . Subjects are fromjthe National Color Photography Library, and are well worth Beeing, "The Vendetta" being perhaps the best The usual set of comics appear, and "The Trials of a Billposter," "His First Girl," and "The Little Magician" caused plenty of merriment. This programme will 'be shown for two mare nights, and will then be replaced by the usual h«lf-weekly change.
