EXCITING SCENE.
A TIGER AT LARGE, SEVERAL PERSONS INJURED. United Press Association—Electrio Telegraph Copyrifiht. Received November 15, 8.35 a.m. NEW YORK, November 14. An exciting scene occurred on board the Hamburg—American liner Altai during the voyage from Colombia to New York. During a hurricane, a tuer which was on board escaped from its cage, and raided the steerage and forecastle badly clawing several passengers anil some of the crew. A hose of hot water ultimately drove the tiger into the steerage, where he was battened down until the steamer reached her destination. The animal was'then captured.
