WOODVILL& NOMINATIONS
Nominations for all events, except Maiden and Scurry, to be run at the Woodville District Jockey Club's Summer Meeting, on December Bth and 9th, will close with the secretary Mr E. J. Gothard, Woodville, at 8 p.m. to-morrow. The telegraph office at Woudville is closed at 8 o'clock. The Ground Committee of the Dannevirke Racing Club report that the course is in tip-top order, and will be found excellent guing on the 17th inst., whilst the plough will compare favourably with the majority of colonial tracks. A conditional license has been granted by the Bench for the meeting. The acceptances for the events with one exception are all that could be desired, and with fine weather a record meeting is anticipated, whilst the train arrangements should suit patrons.
