INDIANS IN THE TRANSVAAL.
Received November 11, 11 p.m. CAPETOWN, November 11. Mr J. C. Smuls, Colonial Secre \ tary for the Transvaal, declines to grant Indians equality in the matter of immigration. He will allow a limited number to take up their permanent residence in the Transvaal. Mr Ghandi, a well-known Indian advocate, replies that the agitation will continue on a bigger sale than ever.
