MASTERTON HOMING PIGEON CLUB.
(Contributed.)
The following is a criticism on tne birds taking part in the interval race from Christchurch to-day :-r-H. W. Lett's "Wind" (Sunbeam—Elete). A three year-old; very good performer and very clever flyer, with a light south-east wind behind. H. M. Wilton's "Stepaway." This clever little yearling, having an old trainer should perform well. Wk J. Hoar's "Sjjverie." A nice-looking yearling; needs better condition for the distance; might surprise pigeon fliers. J. Dixon's "Timothy ("Mac," pure imported durnick—exchequer "Taniwha"). A tricky yearling, hot to ba depended on; depends how the wind treats him whether he secures the premier place.
