MANAWATU SHOW.

By Telegraph —Press Association. PALMERSTON N., Nov. 5. The attendance on Peoole's Day at the Manawatu Spring Shaw numbered 25,000. The total takings at the gate and stands exceeded last year by £Sto. The weather was glorious to-day, and the grand parade was the finest display of stock seen for years. The big huntere' jumping event was won by the Auckland-owned Cloister, with Lovell second, and Fifi third. There were 52 entries. \ Miss Campbell, of Wanganui, Won the ladies' driving. M?nj visitors are staying for the Military Tournament, which promises to be a great success.
