METEOROLOGICAL.
Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 5, The following ia the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:— Though moderate to strong southerly winds have prevailed, the barometer haa fallen gradually everywhere. The weather has been generally warm and fine, with passing clouds, but rain \ has fallen on the West Coast and V Southern districts' of the South Island, and in the extreme North. The present indications are for « change in conditions, and showery and changeable weather may be expected. The general aspect is abnormal and unstable. High pressure due in North not yet having shown signs . of development, and a westerly area' being due in the South on Sunday evening. '
