We earnestly trust, says the Auckland "Herald," that Sir Joseph Ward's new land law proposals will be found to embrace not only the opening up of the unoccupied lands of the Dominion, but the inaugora • tion of new methods at Home for bringing more effectually before the notice of those belonging to the farming community the attractions Which ttiis country offers to those of their class.
