MARLBOROUGH'S JUBILEE

By Telegraph—Press Association. BLENHEIM, Octiber 31. Fine weather prevails for the Jubilee week. The Governor arrived on Saturday night and will be the guest of Mr Vavasour at Ugnrooke, coming into town on Monday and Tuesday. About forty members of Parliament came across to Picton in the Tutanekai, and wi'l be in town on Monday. They visited Ship Cove en route and inspected the site of the proposed Cook Monument. Special sermons were preached in all the churches to-day. Archbishop Redwood being one of the preachers, and a public thanksgiving service was held 'in the Town Hall this afternoon.
