THE VICTORIAN MEETING.

MELBOURNE, October 30.

The shooting at the final range for the King's Prize of the Victorian Rifle Association was interfered with by a troublesome wind. Williams, of Victoria, won the Priza with a score of 321, French, Victoria, beiner two points behind. Manning, New South Wales, made 314. The New Zealandera dropped back at the long range. None finished prominently, bat James carried off the coveted prize of £IOO for the Syme Champion Aggregate, with a score of 575, beating Williams, the King's Prize winner, by a single point. Received October 31, 5.10 p.m MELBOKNE, October 31. James and Patrick won £1 each in the Stuart Match.

Willoughby won £4, James £3, Munro, Patrick and Clyde £1 each iri the Templeton Match, which was won by Knight, of South Autsralia, with a score of 49. Willoughby was fifth with 47.

Received October 31, 12.50 a.m. MELBOURNE, October 30.

Munro scored 310, and filled tenth place in the King's Macth, winning £5. Patrick and James, with 306, won £3 each, Masefield, with 288, winning £2 In the Champion Aggregate, Patrick scored 558, Munro 556, each re . ceiving £3. Masefield scored 547, and received £2., Clyde 530, Willoughby 524, McConnell 523, ths thr<se latter receiving £1 each. In the Sareood Match James took £1 and added to hid other success the winning of the Motty rifle presented b the British Small Arms Company,'and valued at ten guineas, for the highest aggregate at all the ranges from three to seven hundred yards Only four pointa separated the first six riflemen in tne champion aggregate.
