The British steamer Hestia struck a shoal in the Bay of Fundy. The captain, most of the crew, and four passengers took to the boats. |»One of the boats capsized, the fourMan occupants being drowned. Two boats, with thirty persons aboard, are missing. Six of the crew who stuck to the ship were rescued by lifeboats.
