POPULAR PICTURE PALACE.
Messrs Thompson and Payne have decided to open their permanent picture entertainment in the Foresters' Hall to morrow evening. The firm are thoroughly established in various centres in the North Island, showing to record business each evening. This is not to be wondered at, whan the excellence uf their entertainment is taken into consideration. So popular have Messrs Thompson and Payne's entertainments become that they have been encouraged to extend their operations, and have thus decided to open in Masierton. On Wednesday evening a grand monster programme will be presented, in • eluding some of the triumphs of cinematography. A varied selection has been made, and patrons are assured of an enjoyable evening. The Foresters' Hall is being lenovated, and. new seating accommodation provided; electric light will beam down on patro.:s and ilhiminate the tasteful decorations. The projecting apparatus will be Hidden .from view, and the objectionable light generally thrown from this source will be done away with. Messrs Thompson and Payne ii.tend giving the be»t possible picture performance at popular prices.
