The Salvation Army's Self Denial week this year throughout Australasia yielded a total of £35,750. New Zealand is the highest contributor with £12,500, the others being as follows:—Adelaide Province, ,£3,700; Brisbane, £2,810; Sydney, £2,610; Melbourne, £2,451; Bathurst, £2,450; Armidale, £1,825; Perth, £1,750; Ballarat, £1,550; Townsvill?, £1,482; Bendigo, £1,370; Tasmania, £1,252., Of New Zealand's total the North Island contributed £7 250 (Welling ton £1,236, Auckland £808), and the South Island £5,250
