LONDON, October 24
Mr Latham made an [extraordinary flight at Blackpool. The wind was blowing at the rate of forty miles an hour. His Antoinette monoplane travelled five miles an hour against the wind and ninety with the wind. No others attempted flights. M. BLERIOT IN VIENNA. Receive i October 25, 9 a.m. VILINNA, October 24. The Emperor Francis Joesph and a gathering of 200,000 persons witnessed M Bleriot's flights at Vienna on Saturday.

The Baroness Delaroche, in a biplane, made a splendid flight of 300 metres at Chalons Camp. She is the first woman to venture alone on an aeroplane.
