From Our Resident Reporter. Friday. The Cemetery Trustees hve decided to instruct the caretaker to put a fortnight in cleaning up the overgrown weeds on a number of the graves,, and removing noxious weeds from the grounds. A social was held in the Methodist Sunday Schoolroom;, last evening; the proceeds being in aid of the lollie stall at the forthcoming Methodist Sale of Work. There wss a good attendance,, and a very pleasant time was spent. A ballot for £3OO in connection with the Wairarapa Terminating Building Society was held last evening, Mr L. Armstrong being the successful shareholder. A Church of England service is to be held at Parkvale on Sundayevening.
