TWO ARRESTS MADE. By Telegraph— Association. THAMES, October 21. It is alleged that a man and a woman were brutally assaulted at Neavesville. Botn have been brought to the Thames Hospital. It is stated that some men went to a house, knocked the man about and attempted to outage the woman. The latter W«S severely about and rendered insensible* Two men, Mark Richards and William Duncan, miners, have been arrested on suspicion of being implicated in the affair.
