CHINESE SENTENCED TO DEATH. Received October 20, 11.30 p.m. SYDNEY, October 20. Lee Sing has bsen sentenced to death tor the murder of May [Phillips on September 11th last.

A white woman named May Phillips was found murdered in the residence of a Chinese with whom she had been living. Her head was frightfully b-»ttered. A bloodstained tomahawk was found in the house, and a Chinese named Lee Sing, who visit-i' the house, was arrested for the murder.
