FAST STEAMING.
Received October 20, 8,35 a.m. LONDON, October 19. The British armoured cruiser Inflexible, which haH been attending the Hudson-Fulton celebrations at New York, made 26 knots an hour while returning across the Atlantic, but had to abandon the race through a break-down, largely owing to the desertion of half of the engineroom staff.
