THE EDENMORE.

A TOTAL WRECK.

Received October 20, 1 a.m. SYDNEY, October 19.

The Underwriters have been advised that the Edenmore, which went ashore on October Bth last, is a total wreck. Very little cargo has bee saved.

The ship Edanmore, from "Hamburg, went ashore on Stronsay, one of the Orkney Islands. The crew were saved. The Edenmore is a steel ship of 1,726 tons, Duilt in 1890 at Port Glasgow, and owned by Lang and Fulton, the Edenmore Company, of Greenock. She is 260 ft long, 38ft 2in. broad., and 23ft deep.
