THE FERRER DISTURBANCES. United Press Association—ByElectric Telegraph Copyright. Received October 18, 9 a.m. LONDON, October 17. Regarding the distrubances arising out of the execution of Ferrer for being the ringleader of the Barcelona riots, Reuter's Agency reports tna t altogether six bombs were exploded in Barcelona. One explosion killed ten persons.

SOCIALIST DEMONSTRATION IN LONDON. A VIOLENT SPEECH. Received October 18, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, October 18. Eight thousand Social Democrats held a demonstration at Trafalgar Square and denounce Ferrar's socalled murder.

Ihe speakers included Messrs J. A. O'Grady (Labour M.P. for Leeds East), H. M. Hyndman, Cunningham, Graham and A. V. Grayson (Socialist member for Colne Valley). Mr Grayson, in a violent speech, advocated a life for a life. He declared that if the heads of every King in Euiope were torn from their trunks to-morrow they would not pay half the price of Ferrar's life. Ferrar'B death, he said, lay at King Edward's door, because he did not use his influence with King Alfonso. The crowd marched in procession singing "The Marseilleise" to the Spanish Embassy, in Grovasnor Gardens, where they groaned and hooted the Spanish Ambassador. Further demonstrations were held outside the Catholic Cathedral at Westminster.

Demonstrations were held by Socialists in Germany, Holland and Buenos Ayres. Ten thousand persons at Buenos Ayres burned King Alfonso's effigy, and a resolution boycotting Spanish goods was carried. Similar meetings were held in many towiw in the interior of the Argentine. ROME October 18. A mob of sympathisers with Ferrar at Pisa attempted to fire the Cathedral. The great door was partially burnt, but the police extinguished the flames and dispersed the mob. A mob also wrecked the church of Santa Close at Pisa, overturning the altars and slashing the pictures.

Attempts were made to wreck the churches at Duca, Forli and Ancona. A demonstration was held at Liege, and the mob broke the windows of the monastery, convent and church, and pandered the vestry, PARIS, Octobarlß.'-. Fifty thou3ani p -rsons held a demonstration in Paris.
