DUTY OF AUTONOMOUS DEPENDENCIES.

In reply to the London Ctiamber of Commerce's request for support for a proposal, for the augmentation BHtish Navy, the Montreal Chamber of Commerce agrees that all the autonomous dependencies should participate in the Empire's defence,, but should coniserve their initiative as to the nature and form of such participation.
