SOCIAL AT KAITUNA.

The very high esteem in which Mrs Kibbldwhite, snr., and Mrs Kibblewhite, jnr , are held by their friends and neighbours, was clearly demonstrated by the very large number of friends who attended on Thursday night at a social evening held at their woolehed at Kaituna. The building was very tastefully decorated with greenery, and the floor was in splendidjorder. Capital music was supplied by Miss Kelliher and a long programme of dances was got through in good time. Mr J. Stempa, who acted as MC, proved himself the right man in the right palce. Songs were contributed by Mesdames Kibblewhite and Ashton, and Mr Iggulden.

A sumptuous supper was provided. The decoration of the table was a feature of the evening, and was highly commented on. The table was RO teet long, and when the couples were seated along both sides of it, the happy faces of the gay throng must have amply repaid tne hostesses for the trojan way in which they had worked to ensure a completely enjoyable evening. On being requested Mr Hebeuton, on behalf of the guests, returned thanks to the ladies who worked so hard to provide a very sociable and pleasant time for their friends.
