CONTINGENT DREADNOUGHTS.
TENDERS INVITED. Received October 15. 10.25 p.m. LONDON, October 15. The newspaper "Engineering" states that the Admiralty nas invited tenders for four contingent Dreadnought?. The tenders are returnable on November sth, and the keels are ti be laid down in January, which is earlier than is sometimes the case with vessels on the ordinary programme The conditions include severe penalties if the vessels are not completed by March 31st, 1912.
