Extraordinary disclosures have been made,in connection with the examination in bankruptcy of Miss Violet Charles worth whose tragic disappearance after a motor-car accident and subs quent tracking down by the pslice last causad such a sensation. Miss Charlesworth alleges that she had great: *exp?ctations from several gentlemen, including £155,000 from Alexander M*Donald, who was last' heard of in Melbourne The Official Receiver suggests that these gentlemen are mythical.
