RIFLE SHOOTINGS.
THE RANDWICK MEETING. Received October 13, 9.25 p.m. SYDNkY, October 13. The additional scores of the New Zealanders in the New Match were as follows:—Dewar and Clyde 30 each, Halliday 29, Hobbs 28, Hawthorn and Bradley 26 each, Munro 24, Lee and Moore 22 each, Marenzi 21, Loveday 19, Patrick 18. Masefield and Mills 16 each, Franklin 3. Evans 2. 10-day opened with light rain, a very light wind drifting from right to left. The conditions suited the New Zealanders. At the 300 yards stage of the King's Prize nine possibles were scored, including possibles by Duncan and Hadfield (New Zealand). At the 500 yards stage there were 56 possibles, includnig one by Evans (New Zealand), but only twouf those getting the possible at 300 yards did so on the longer range, namely, Brown (Tasmania), and Howitt (Sonth Australia.) At the 600 yards range 13 possibles were scored, including possibles, by the New-Zealanders James and Marenzi. » The following are the leading scores of the New Zealanders in the first stage of the King's Prize: — Duncan, James and Munro 100. Hadfield,. Guy and Halliday 99. Masefield 98. Shaw, Marenzi, Clyde and Dewar 97. Loveday 96. Hawthorne,, Patrick and Cox 95. King, Craw aDd Bradley 94. Evans 93. Mills 92. Howitt, of South; Australia, with a score of 104, is leading. There are 747 competitors in the King's Matches.
