HOUSING AND TOWN PLANNING BILL. Received October 12, 10.20 p.m. LONDON. October 12. The House of Lords passed the Housing and Town Planning Bill. Earl Crewe stated that if certain amendments of the House of Lords were eventually included the Government would not proceed with the measure. DISCARDED. LONDON, October 12. The Northumberland Miners' Election Committee have taken steps which wi'l deprive Messrs Burtand Fenwick, M.P.'s, of the miners' vote, they will therefore have to stand as Liberals.
