The barque Wynford has arrived from London. She had an adventurous voyag-, experiencing a succession uf gales during a period of three months. The decks wre constantly flooded, and the crew suffered severe privations. During a hurricane a big wave swept the whole of the starboard watch—six men, two boys and the second mate—over the side. A seaman named O'Reilly was drowned, but the others managed to regain the deck. The first mate, Mr Sprange, died during the voyage.
