ALLEGED THEFT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERS lON N., October 11. Archibald Muir appeared before Mr A. D. Thomson, S.M., to-day, charged with the theft from the National Mortgage Company of cheques to the value of about £873. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed.
