- A.J.C. MEETING. ✓ By Telegraph—Press Association. Received October 10, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, October 10. The weather was fine for the A.J.C. meeting, yesterday. Results:—
High-Weight Handicap. Flava nius, 10.2, 1; Achilhan, 10.2, 2; Plush, 10.3, 3. Twenty-three starters. The winner got through after passing the bend, and coming away beat Achillean by a length, five lengths being between second and third horses. Time, Imin 13fsec. Waverley Handicap —Eric, 8 4, 1; Pharos, 7.8, 2; Yabbagabba, 8.2, 3. lea starters. Won by a length. Time, 2min 6sec, Djvvling Steeplechase. Squirm, 11.6, 1; Savtrr.e, 10.4, 2; Heather, 9.5, 3. Seven starters. Won by two lengths. Members' Handicap.—Sheen, 7.12, I; Hayfield, 7.12, 2; Kady San, ».4, 3. Won by a h.ead. Randwick Plate.—Trafalgar 1, Lord Nolan 2,Vavasour 3. When going Trafalgar took the lead from Vavasour. Trafalgar increased his lead, but there was little change to the six furlongs where Lord Nolan drew witl in half a length of the leader. Trafalgar again forged ahead, and entered the straight three lengths in the lead and going on won by that distance, Vavasour being six lengths away. Time, 3min 31Js2C.
