DAYLIGHT SAVING.
. Received October 9, 12.30 a.m. MELBOURNE, October 8. Giving evidence before the Daylight Saving Bill Committee, the Inspector of Factories stated that he had collected the op'nion of 343 employers on the subject. Three hundred and three favoured the proposal 20 were neutral, and 20 against. "The secretary of the Storekeepers' Association, representing 1,500 storekeepers, declared his Society as a whole favoured the proposal.
