MASTERTON CLUB. The seventh annua! meeting of the Maaterton Cricket Club was JneJMpfi evening in Messrs GawitwHtogan's offices. Mr C. Per.ry pffsidid and there were also present Messrs W. Redmond, C. J. Mackellar, A. Esson, C. G. Monro, S. Edwards* | and A. Thompson. The report and i balance-sheet, tha latter disclosing a I surplus of assets over liabilities of i £l3, was adopted. 1 Office.-s fo." the ensiins yeir were elected as follows: -Patron, Mr W. ) G. Beard; President, Mr W. H. L. Galway; Vice-Presidents, Messrs F. G. Maunsell and F. G. Moore • Secretary] and Treasurer Mr S. Ed-1 wards; Management Committee, Messrs C. Perry, A. Esaon, W. Iggulden, C. A. Mackellar, S. Edwards. D. K. Logan; Selection Committee, Messrs W. Redmonl, A. Esson, C. J. Mackellar; Delegates to Wairarapa Cricket Association, Messrs C. J. Mackellar and W. Redmond; Auditor, Mr C. Perry, The election of captain and vice-captain was left over till the first match. The delegates to the Masterton Cricket Council are to be appointed from the Management Committee. Messrs C. Perry and W Iggulden were appointed a Ground Committee. It was decided to enter two teams, a senior and a junior, for the Wairarapi Cricket Association competitions. The following new members were elected:—Messrs A. Caselberg, Wakelin. R. Moore, W. Barlow, B. Welch, P. Mcßarron, ti Clayson, W Iggulden aiH Bla'n. Mr W. H. Jackson was requested to select the two best cricketers at the school who are to be elected members of the Club free of charge. It was decided to open the season on October 9th. Votes of thanks to the retiring officers terminated the meetJn S- ___^_ The Uni'.ed Cricket Club will open therr season with a Club practice on Saturday afternoon, commencing at 2 p.■ m.
