9 Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report as follows:—We hel:! our monthly sale of wool, skins, hides, tallow, etc., yesterday, when we offered la bales wool, 30 bags wool, 3,000 sheepskins, 600 hides, and e quantity of tallov, rabbitskins, and horsehair. There was a Rood attend ance of buyers, and bidding throughout was spirited, nnd everything was sold at full value. Wool.—The small quantity offering was eagerly taken up by buyers. We quote. —Superior crutchings. 4|d to sid; medium crutchmgs. 4d to 4Jd; inferior crutchings, 3d to 4d; pieces and bellies, 2dto4ld; locks, Hd to 3d; Skins. —Fine crossbreds, 7d to 8d; crossbreda, 6d to 7Jd; lambs skins, 5Jd to 7id; dead skins 3d to 6id; dead hoggets, 5d to 5f d; short wools, 4dto4*d; dry pelts, 2£d to 4d; green skins, 4s to 6s 6d each. Tallow. —ln shipping order £23 ss, tins £lB to £2O 15s,rough tat. £lO to £l4. Horsehair—ls Id to Is 2d per ,1b; xabbitskins. 8d to 9d. Limited,' 3 Messrs Dalget.y and Co., Limited, report as follows:-We&held our monthly sale of wool, skins, and hides yesterday, when we offered 10 bales of wool, 50 bags of wool, 2,000 sheepskins. 100 hides, and 550 calfskins. There was the usual good attendance of buyers, and bidding was very spirited, especially with the superior lines of sheepskins which realised as much as 8d per lb. We quote:—Crossbred fleece, 6£d; superior crutching3, 4id to 5Jd; medium crutchings, 3d to 4£d; dead wool, 6Jdto63td; black wool, sd; locks, 3Jd; locks, dirty, Id; dead wool, eeedy, 4&d. Skins.—Cross-breds.-'fine 8d lb,; crossbreds, superior, 7Jd lb; crossbreds, medium, 7d lb: crossbreds, broken, 4JI lb; crossbreds, broken and dead, 4Jd lb; crossbreds, damp, 5s 7d each; dead skins. 5Jd to 6&d per. lb; dead skins, damp. 3s lOd each; half | wools, 6Jd lb; black, 4d lb: hoggets, ' damp Is 6d each. Hides.—Ox heavy, 5Jd; ox medium, ox slippy 3d to 4d; cow heavy, 51d lb; cow, ; medium, sjd; cow slippy, 4|d to ! 4£d; yearling, 3£d to s|d; calf.good, Bldperlb; calf mtdium.
